“Tackling Change” with Jackie McKechnie
A Bi-weekly Summer Series
We don't ask to wake up one day and find ourselves in a downward spiral in our most intimate relationships or struggling with financial hardship. We don't dream of the day that we will be challenged by our willful children or suddenly not know how to face being in the same room with an estranged family member. We don't prepare adequately for the loss of a loved one, or a job or a dream (or a pandemic!).
It's in our nature to struggle with change; we want to reject negative things happening in our lives as much as we grasp to hold on to old things that are no longer working. But what if there was a way to get more comfortable with change? What if you could tackle this “thing” you're going through, and while not necessarily easy or pleasant, come out the other side with new strengths and skills to help you through the next inevitable transition in your life?
Please join us for 6 sessions of a biweekly series with Jackie McKechnie as she walks us through how to be more skillful at dealing with changes in one’s life. Jackie will combine dialogue with assessment tools and reflections to help negotiate our ever-changing life circumstances.
Workshops run from 12p-1:30p
$15 per session/$60 for the series
